| Pirates of the Caribbean Adventure? Do any of you know about the special Pirates of the Caribbean event at WDW the week of May 21st? It's a three day event with most activities taking place on the 24th, culminating in a midnight showing of the new movie. It takes place on Seven Seas Lagoon, and the package I'm looking at costs $199. It looks like you get a pirate themed dinner, tickets to the movie, and a pirate event on the lagoon with "special guests." I guess it's primarily a merchandise event? On another board they hypothesized that it would be similar to the Happy Haunts event (Haunted Mansion themed?) Anyone have any ideas about this one? I'm taking Zack down for a surprise trip over Memorial Day weekend, and we arrive at 9AM on the 24th. If this is one of those "not to be missed" opportunities, I'll try to get us spots tomorrow when registration opens. What do you think?  |

The mega-package (which is ridiculously expensive because it includes lodgings) has that breakfast INSIDE the pirates ride. Now, that would be cool... if it didn't cost as much as a car! Eileen     |
