X-Mas 2007--What do you think? We are going on our 1st X-mas trip to Disney. We are leaving on Dec. 23-28. We are staying at the SS, our 2nd time home. Here is the plan: Sun. arrive, MGM and then hop to Boardwalk/Yacht & Beach Club to see decorations Mon. Epcot-Garden Grill dinner/Candlelight Procession Tue-X-Mas - Mass at the Contemporary, Breakfast at Chef Mickey, AK, dinner at the California Grill. Wed.-MK-dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern Thurs. MK dinner at 1900 Park Fare and got to see Poly/GF Fri. Home We are heading back in August 08, so I am not to concerned of getting on many rides. I just want the kids to see the parades and decorations.

Re: X-Mas 2007--What do you think? Looks great. Yes you simply must go for the decorations and specail holiday stuff. Try for the MVMCP too. We also didn't do much rides this past trip as it was for holiday goodies only (totalled 7 different rides that DGD just had to do).

Re: X-Mas 2007--What do you think? It sounds good to me - and even better than you're going mainly for the decorations and parades and not the rides. That's a really good approach to take, as it will no doubt be packed over Christmas!

Re: X-Mas 2007--What do you think? Having just come back from WDW where we spent Dec 26th till Jan 2nd I can tell you that parades and decorations are definately the way to go. Also PLEASE remember that all the parks will be absolutely jammed packed so allow plenty of time for transportation and turned up AT LEAST 30 mins PRIOR to any ADR you have as the resturants will be packed too.

Re: X-Mas 2007--What do you think? Sounds great! I will be at WDW for Christmas next this year as well. BTW I know someone mentioned Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) by the time you get there the party will be done with. THe last party is usually the Friday before Christmas. Also keep in mind ADR might be HARD to get. Call 180 days from your first day. I was on hold for 2 hours in 2004 trying to get ADR for Christmas day...this was at 7 in the morning. to the boards!

Your plans look great As Robin mentioned, don't forget to make those ADRs when it is time. That will be a busy time so you want to have them made. You will love how beautifully things are decorated at that time. Have a wonderful time planning |
