| I myself , have not been . My bestfriend has however. She said it was very crowded, hot and humid. Rained (sprinkled) almost everday, for a short time. Does this help ???

| Although it was HORRIBLY crowded (and we even stayed away from the PARKS that day), isn't it better to be at WDW than to NOT be at WDW?? LOL I'd take the 4th of July at WDW anyday, if it meant I was at WDW. If you have the time, stay out of the parks on the 4th. Go watch the MK fireworks from the Poly Beach. Be warned if you want to go to MGM that day, that due to their fireworks, they shut down a HUGE portion of the park to prepare EARLY!!! Just have fun!!! |

| Stay onsite and take advantage of the morning extra magic hours when available, then hop to another park if that one gets too crowded. Start early every day if you want to hit lots of attractions. Then take a break after lunch and get out of the sun for a couple of hours. When you check in, look at the special events guide they give you. In 2005, they showed the special July 4th fireworks at Magic Kingdom on the 3rd and the 4th. So you could experience the special version without quite as many people. Avoid the parks on the 4th if possible. Relax around your resort, play mini golf, have fun at Downtown Disney, visit other resorts for a meal, etc. Very hot and very humid, just like the whole South US is for about half the year, it seems like! We survived by having an excellent touring plan each day that kept us away from most of the lines and crowds, and by taking an afternoon break almost every day. On the 4th we ate at a different resort, did our laundry, and went to Downtown Disney. Enjoy your trip!

| I was there this past 4th of July. Stayed at POR and on July 3rd MK does a preview of the 4th of July fireworks display. That came in handy since EPCOT had a special Illuminations show. But the friends that were with me missed the preview on the 3rd so we went back to MK on the 4th. That was really worth it. At 5pm for the flag retreat they do a special show for the 4th of July with the Voices of Liberty. Also when we went in the morning we were all giving pins. We all decided to stake out a spot about 2hours before the parade (on mainstreet by Casey's Hot Dogs). That way some could go off and do things then come back and rest. It was hot, humid and very crowded but I wouldn't change that trip for anything. Just to see the fireworks going off in a circle all around you and everyone around me on Mainstreet singing to the music, it was the best trip. I would definiatly go back for the 4th of July again.
