| Luckily for me and my family, we have been able to visit WDW for the last few years. One of my BF's is going through a rough time (divorce, etc) and we asked if she would like to join us on a Disney Adventure...she happily said "yes". My daughter is BF's with her DD. My question is this...any suggetions/ideas on how to make thier first trip truly magical? I have no problem spending some $$$ in secret to make their trip even more magical! They deserve it!! Any advice/tips would be appreciated! |

| How old are the girls ? If they are at the age for it take them to the Bippity Boppity Boutique. Also do one of the Princess meals. My 9 yr. likes Akerhaus best but the Cinderella castle one is nice also. They are lucky to have friends like you.

| We have taken our last 4 trips with my niece and DD. Some of their favorite things are: Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot Dinner at 1900 Parc Fare Bibbity Bobbity Boutique Just being there with good friends is great. Have a great time planning! Steph A

| I'm sure they'll like whatever you plan simply because it's something you did just for them! I would think the girls would enjoy a gift basket with Mouse Ears, autograph books and one of those disposable cameras waiting for them in the room upon arrival! That would be a great way to start a truly magical vacation. As for your friend, how about a spa treatment? Have fun planning!

| A spa treatment for the two of you to enjoy together would be a fun "girls' day out" thing. If the DDs are under 12, wearing princess dresses will garner them even more attention from cast members, especially if you go to a princess meal. If the girls are over 12 then there are options at the GF spa for them, too. Enjoy! |

| A thing my kids really liked was the "Cinderella Slipper Dessert" you can order it at some of the resorts (Grand Floridian for sure) and have it delivered at dinner. You do pre-pay for it.

| Our very first trip to Disney we did a Wishes fireworks cruise. It was the highlight of our vacation. Our captain was wonderful and we learned a lot of Disney trivia. Watching the fireworks from the water is absolutely magical. Definitely worth the $! |

| How very thoughtful of you. Cinderella & the Prince are at 1900 Park Fare (GF) & they have a wonderful dinner. Time it so they can see the Fireworks from the beach. Be sure they see Fantasmic (MGM) and have good seats for SpectroMagic MK-(top of train station) Those two shows always make for a special evening! You're a wonderful friend. ![]() |

| Thanks for all of the ideas.....the girls are 13 so they are not really into the whole princess thing anymore :-( The Illuminations cruise was a thought, but I was not aware that there was a Wishes cruise. Since we have never actually seen the Wishes fireworks, that may the thing for us!! Now.....how do I find out more info/booking, etc?? |

| You can book a fireworks cruise 90 days in advance at 407-WDW-PLAY. The cruises do book very quickly, so it is a must to book first thing on the 90-Day window. Here is more information about the cruises: Specialty Cruises

| I think that little gifts snuck into their backpacks each am would be fun too... I know they're probably feeling "too old" for stuff, but hopefully the Disney magic will be infectious and get into their systems!

| A girls night out at Epcot for a nice meal and shopping. Just you and your friend - if that's a possibility - do it - that type of break for a mom - expecially a stressed one - is priceless. I'd LOVE a night in Epcot like that. I have a great support system of female friends and I would absolutely adore going to Epcot with them to hit the WS!!

| I think you should buy them some "ears." I know the first time we went to the park and saw people wearing their various ears I immediately wanted in. I've since graduated from Mickey ears to the Stitch Headband - CM's LOVE it when my BF wears his too! I think a set of ears with their names stitched on the back (of course!) would be the perfect gift.
