| I don't think the addition of Pirates and Princess party will have any effect on whether some sort of resort or dining discount is offered.

| No-- I wouldn't consider P&P as a special, and don't think it will rival free dining (though I'm not feeling really good about that since they had that bounceback program). I don't think this will have any effect on it though. I think P&P is more like Disney having that magical beginnings program last August (and there was also the free dining even with that program)---- early magic hours for kids under 5, and the playhouse disney concert series. It draws crowds like the magical beginnings may have, though marketing to a wider range of people. Though we loved those magical early hours (I have pics of my kids playing duck duck goose with Mickey Mouse-- that was magical), I'm really excited about the P&P party.

| Not sure of the exact dates, but the Magical Beginnings is being held again in September. It is on the Disney website.

| The actual dates for Magical Beginnings this year are September 6 to October 28. That makes me really happy for DS4, as I think he will enjoy it and we will be at WDW October 13-22!! After posting this, I see on the WDW site that they are actually stating that MB will start August 26. I got the other dates off another Disney site. | Oh well, I'm just glad we got to experience it last year! It was really cool! That hour at Magic Kingdom was amazing--- characters everywhere without lines. Actually playing with the kids (like I said Mickey played Duck Duck Goose with our kids-- something we'll never ever forget!)

| I was thinking of the Pirates and Princess Party as a bonus for a slow time. Kind of like they use free dining to draw people in.
