| To-Do List: Reserve Room at French Quarter ... Check!!! Finally our first official proof that we are indeed going to WDW next summer ... a confirmed room reservation, complete with deposit paid! We really prefer to go on a bare-bones budget, but we were at Pop Century last time and had poor bus service, so I was hoping for something different. The All-Stars aren't enough different from Pop Century for me, so we decided to move up to the Moderate category. Since I have a part-time job now, I'm able to contribute to the vacation fund to make up the difference in price. So which moderate? I've stayed at CBR before, and we've visited my parents once when they were at the old Dixie Landings. So between Coronado Springs and French Quarter, I thought the theming would be better at French Quarter. I also like that they have the two sinks. That should save us a few minutes in the mornings, when I'm in full commando mode heading to the parks! I reserved two nights more than what we actually need - one at the beginning of the trip and one at the end. Jay (dh) won't know his vacation schedule until January, but we know he has the July 4th week off. The question is whether he gets the Friday before or the Monday after off, as well as whether he remains on night shift or moves back to days. That type of change could take place at any time, but isn't that likely. So once we know his exact days off, I'll call back and cancel the two nights we won't need. Also, I really want to upgrade us to the Wilderness Lodge. That's where we've both wanted to stay ever since we first visited the resort. Jay especially has been talking about how he'd like to stay there. Once I see how my savings goes over the next few months, if I can manage the extra money I'd like to call back and see if they still have any rooms available. It'd be nice to get off the DME bus at WL and tell Jay "Happy Birthday!" (a month after our trip) and see his reaction.

| Awesome! We love POFQ; don't forget beignets for breakfast -- ask for fresh ones! (Unless, of course, you end up 'accidentally' getting off at WL!

| Good for you. POFQ is my favorite moderate. Don't miss the bost ride to DTD. Walk around the grounds and experience one of the better-themed WDW resorts. Have fun planning

| Thanks everyone! Now if that Unofficial Guide will just hurry up! It was originally to have shipped next week, but I see the release date was pushed back to the first week of September. If we remain at French Quarter, I am really looking forward to the beignets, the landscaping and the boat ride to DTD. Plus it will be an upgrade from our last visit. But still, the WL beckons ... I'll keep you posted as to where we end up!
