| Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? Hi, I have so many questions because I am in the honeymoon stages of planning! We just booked yesterday for 11 days in December '08! Yay! I can't wait! Anyway...we are planning on arriving on 12/22 and the CM who booked our trip for us mentioned Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I am guessing that we might be there for one of the last dates? Anyway...is it fun? There are 4 of us...me, my husband, my daughter who will be 16 then, and my son who will be 12 (almost 13 Thanks! Jenny

| The Christmas Party is a lot of fun and I can thoroughly recommend it - we've gone on four separate years, including this year, and have loved every party we've been to, even the sold out ones. The last party is usually the Friday night before Christmas. This year it was on 12/21.

| Its a blast for sure -- just remember though that it is a big ticket item for people of all ages and the party is bound to be sold out for any of the dates you may choose. In another words it will be crowded and could be more crowded during that time then the park is during normal operating hours. However, it just depends on what everyone's realistic goals are. If you want something to do that is festive and a great family outing then go for it. The parade, show and fireworks are awesome. The decorations are great and the overall entertainment is A+. But if you are wanting to go to ride rides-probably not going to get on too many. Jenn |

| RIght before you Hi! We're booked 12/7-12/16 and are definitely planning on doing MVMCP. Its one of the reasons I moved my trip from early Sept. to Dec. We don't have any kids, but I know that the last parties of the year tend to be very crowded--so if your kids don't do well with crowds, you might want to skip it.

| One aspect of MVMCP that people love is the parade and shows which are not seen early in the season except at the party. These shows and parade are seen by all in the parks starting the day after the last MVMCP. You will be there at a time that you can see these in the park if you wish.

| Care to explain why you hate it so much (maybe you have in a post somewhere else already....sorry if you have). I really want to go, but not if it's going to be lots of $$ for a headache. |

| We it! We've been twice on a Friday night and one other time but I can't remember what night now.... Every time we've been we've been able to walk right onto the rides we wanted. It does seem crazy around Main Street but other than that we think it's great We'll do it every year we go for Christmas ![]()

| because there's nothing it offers that you can't get elsewhere in the world, other than the parade (and really, at that time, i'd just make sure i saw it in the daytime anyway). even 'twas the night before christmas is shown all day saturdays to anyone in the parks. epcot has plenty going on, even DAK has a lot of its characters in special outfits full time, including santa goofy. party-exclusive decor is next to none now. there are very few special character photo-ops and for those that are out, a very small percentage are dressed up for the occasion - most just wear a scarf and hat. and at that time, it's still probably going to be crowded during the parties, at least that's been the report this year.

| IT's worth it, if you are looking to see the special Holiday Wishes fireworks spectacular.

| We had a blast when we went and would love to do it again. It may be busier with it being closer to Christmas however.

| If you don't want to spend the money for the party and still want to see/hear the fireworks you can book dinner at either CG or Narcoossee's. Both have a view of the holiday fireworks and the music piped in!

| We're arriving on the 19th of December next year (as long as the school calendar goes as predicted) and we're hoping to attend for the experience.
