| So - February 9? We will be flying into Orlando on February 9 - headed down to Naples for the week...dh actually suggested that maybe we should stop by WDW upon arriving!  His comment was - "hey, after all - I have an Annual Pass burning a hole in my pocket!" Isn't he so cute??? So - I called Disney today and there is no availability at any resort except Boardwalk! Why? Is it just that busy right now? I really wasn't expecting that!I was so hoping to be able to get into a moderate resort. Is it because we just want one night? Should I keep trying?

| It's winter in Florida, everyone is here. Various schools also have winter breaks as well. Very busy time of year.

| That's the beginning of Daytona Speedweek. The Daytona 500 front-row qualifying is that afternoon and the Bud Shootout is that night. A lot of race fans are in FLA for the entire week.... The Daytona 500 draws almost 300,000 people.

| I think Rob got it right! The race is drawing a lot of folks. We have to move from CS to All Stars Movie the last day of our stay. I was really hoping for POR but nothing was available there when we booked in early Nov 07. A few people I our group are driving to Daytona, me I'm Disney all the way. Hope you find an open room to book. Good Luck.

| Ooooh I'm arriving on 2/9 and I hope it's all race fans that won't be hogging up the parks! I absolutely despise crowds at Disney!  Good luck getting a moderate room! I think you'll luck out! Look on hotels.com and orbitz.com too! I found all of the mods on there about three weeks ago! |

| I am home from school today - SNOW day!  I was able to get a room at Coronoda Springs!!!!!!! YAY! So - we are booked for one night! I can't believe that I didn't have to say anything about going to Disney - that dh thought of it all by himself! Maybe - getting him his own AP was a smart thing for me to do! Oooooooo - I am so excited - I have never stayed at CS before! Thanks for the advice everyone!
