Any adults do BBB?

My DD (graduating from college this May) would love to do the BBB, at least everything but the costume. She is afraid she will be the only adult in the entire world to do this . Has anyone else given into the desire to look like the princess that we all know ourselves to be?

When we took our daughter there last year I threatened to book my wife an appointment too, and actually asked about it. They will do adult hair, but I BELIEVE the only package they will do is the hair only package...they won't do makeup or nails...and definatly not the dress package.

I didn't end up doing it, as I had a feeling my wife might kill me... but I don't think your daughter would be the first...and definatly not the last, to get her hair done as an adult.

Does anyone know how much hair costs for teens? My 15 year-old always pouts when we walk by BBB because it wasn't there when she was little. How much would she love it if I arranged a hair appointment for her one day on our next trip?? Anyone know the cost??

The hair nail and make up package is around $49.00. I think just hair is around $45.
I plan on doing it with my DD when we go in May 09. I HOPE they'll do the make up and nails too!! We didn't have the money for vacations when my kids were little. Now I feel bad because a lot of what I wanted to give to them I couldn't and they are "too old" for a lot of the fun stuff (like the princess package). Even if they don't do the make up and nails, we are still getting the hair done.

All of the women in my family did it in June... youngest was 17, oldest was 61

we did hair and make up, did not go for the nails as they are just plastic press ons, you get to keep the comb, hair clips, and make up kit.

the cost was the same for us as it was for the little girls

I think the girls get a way better deal than the cool dude... was not impressed with my brother's "do"

We were there in January and I got both my kids done (my son's pictured below) and the FGMiT told me there are whole families that get done together.....so kids of ALL ages go.

Do it and have a great time!! It's how I celebrated my DD's Sweet 16th and she had a blast!! (so did my son)

The only thing you cannot do as an adult is get the dresses. They do makeup for everyone (female, that is)

My daughter and I just had it done on Feb 3, 2008. She is 6 and I am 40. She was scheduled and they said they had an opening so she wanted "mom" to do it too. So I did! It was my 12 year anniversary that day so I figured what the heck! I was deemed a "Cool Mom" by at of the FGiT. It was fun. They did my hair, nails and makeup.

The only problem I had was that about 4 hours later my head and my DD was itching like crazy. Then the next morning my DD had a real bad scalp rash. We actually ended up taking most of the hair down by midday and rearranging the extensions.

It was fun to be made over and DD loved seeing mom getting the treatment too. While we were in there my hubby comes in with my 8 yr old son who had just been to Harmony Barber Shop for his "Cool Dude" haircut. Martin said he almost got the "Cool Dude" too and wished he would have when he saw me getting done up.

yeah, they really poor on the gel and hair spray, but I think it's the fairy dust that makes it itchy.
