Keys to the Kingdom Tour at MK

Has anyone done this tour? My daughter and I really want to do it but it says that the minimum age is 16. We are going in August and at that point, my daughter will be 5 months short of her 16th birthday. Is Disney really strict about that? I know they don't want to ruin the magic for children but she is old enough to get her driver's permit. She wants to see the utilidors and how the park operates behind the scenes.

I've done the tour twice and it was so different each time. I highly recommened it I would bet your daughter would be allowed on the tour, but I would call just to make sure.

Just got back from my second KTTK tour. Recommend it highly! And they really stressed that you had to be 16 to go on it. You have to produce a picture ID at the time you arrive for the tour. You had better check with the CM when you call to reserve it. I have a sneaky feeling that they hold to the age limit pretty much, as it could get really tricky deciding how far to bend the rules!

I can thoroughly recommend this tour - it's amazing. I think Disney are pretty strict on the age limit being 16. I think they ask to see ID, so sadly I don't think they'll allow anyone under that age.

We had this same problem last Sept. We wanted to do this tour and our DS wouldn't turn 16 until Feb. We were told no way. They have to be 16 by the time of the tour and you must show picture ID. So we waited and finally booked it this Sept.
