That is the same week I was looking at going. Either that week or the week before. My DS birthday is April 30 he will be 6 and we go for his birthday every year(except this year because DH is in Iraq). We are DVC members and the points are lower in May than in April that's why I think we will go with the First week of May.

Well I called this morning and we now have a ressie at the ASMu. I can't believe I've actually booked a room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder why the deposit for a one night stay was higher than what is quoted on the website??? I wished I could do more. Make an ADR or something to make it feel a little more real. What do you guys do at this point??????

The deposit would be more because you are booking a room for 2009. Since the 2009 rates are not out yet, your deposit is for the highest room rate of 2008 (highest season). When the 2009 rates come out, they will adjust your deposit and refund you if necessary. Also, taxes are included in your deposit.

Hope that helps!
