| Which Water Park My DS who will be an older three on our vacation loves the water. Can't get him out of it once he gets in it type of love. Our Sept trip consists of 11 days so we are thinking of maybe going to TL or BB one day during our trip. Which do you think is more geared toward the younger crowd? Or do you think we would be better off just saving the money and using our resort pool. Thanks in advance for all input!

| If he loves the water as much as you say then a water park will thrill him......In my humble opinion Tike's Peak at BB is fun for the toddlers and my nephews favorite when he was small..........TL has a kiddie area too, but he liked BB the best.

| TL gets my vote hands down. If he's as much as a water bug as you say, then go ahead and get the experience of TL. I don't know what resort you are staying at, but sometimes the resort pool can be just as much fun as a water park. My reasons for TL are the following: TL is a bit more toned down. BB is really for the thrill seeking kinds of families. The kiddie area at BB has great play, but it's really geared for children 5+ imo. TL has a GIANT wave pool. Inside that giant wave pool is a slide area for small tikes. It's very easy to keep yourself cool while watching him on the slide. There is also a great splash kid area in another section that you can enjoy with him as well. The lazy river at TL can't be beat. You can sit in it all day long and just float. They have special tubes for those whose butts are too small to fit in a regular tube. It's true that BB has a lazy river as well, but TL's is better. Going back to the wave pool. It's awesome fun. It can be a bit rough so make sure you have some type of vest or swimmies on to keep his little head above water. My DH and I used to hold onto our son and let the waves take us for a ride. My son is braver than most so he thought it was great. Most of the time he was swimming back out before DH and I had a chance to pick ourselves up. Dollar for dollar we had more fun at TL with a small child then we did at BB. My son was old enough to enjoy most of the BB kid attractions, but they were not attractions I could share with him unless we confined ourselves to the lazy river. Anyway, if you are going to do a water park, I'd spend the money on TL. |

| Our niece and nephew (three and six) really liked Blizzard Beach - they couldn't try Typhoon Lagoon, as it was closed when they were there.

| We prefer TL. It just seems shadier there than the glare from the white from BB. We have been to both though, and they are so much fun!!

| Having been to both, I think your little guy may have more fun at Typhoon Lagoon.

| Thanks again for all the input. Looks like most of lean towards Typhoon Lagoon. I definitely like the idea of more shade.
