| It's been 1 1/2 months since we got back from our last WDW vacation and it already feels like it was ages ago. Our next Disney trip is still almost 10 months away - and now that REALLY feels like forever. So, I have started planning (of course) but it's so far away I can't seem to get myself excited about the whole planning process So, I was wondering what you do to get yourself in the planning spirit even if the trip you're planning is still soooo far away?

| I start with the ADRs first. Count down to the date you can make ADRs. Then the calendar will be out. That helps it feel withing striking distance. Then count down to your double digit dance. Basically break it up into smaller mile stones. Use a ticker to make it fun! Hanging out here and looking at trip reports and pictures and helping other people plan keeps me in the mood too. -pita

| Make a scrapbook of your past trips to WDW--they can take a long time to make, thereby giving you LOTS of fun reminiscing time--when I am working with my photos, I feel as though I am right back in the parks. Another great thing to do is to post your photos right here on passporter.com in the photo gallery--that way, everyone else is able to enjoy your photos too! (plus you get 10 cents per photo to spend at the passporter store for every photo that is approved!) HAVE FUN!

| I listen to Disney music on Live365 every day at work. Right now I am listening to the Entrance Loop from MK. Love it!

| I sit and make a list of things that we didnt get to do on our trip that we must do on the next, places we didnt ever eat at that maybe this next trip we will try. Was I happy with the clothes I took do I need to change that. Was there something I should of took but didnt I go buy it and have it for the next trip. Go thru pass porter book looking at resorts and where didnt we stay that we could afford to stay at this trip. Maybe a special will come up and we could choose that. 10 months isnt that bad a time frame. It use to be years between my trips to Disney UNTILLL hubby got bit by the Disney Bug.

| Our 2nd trip back isn't until December (which seems a really long time away to me since I've been pining to go back since our last trip in December 2007). We spent the first few months discussing ADR's and general planning. I'm passing the time away reading trip reports - and learning alot from those! If I really feel down I go over the photo's from our last trip and reminisce |

| What do I do? What do I do?!? Prepare yourself 'cause I have it BAD!!! #1. Answer the questions of others with my freshly acquired Disney vacation information. #2. Upload pictures to the PassPorter photo archive #3. Watch Disney: Walt Disney World vacation planning DVD, WDW 5-DVD set that we bought in the parks on a recent vacation, watching the kids' Disney sing-along DVD's (so much fun), watching the Disney on Demand shows, watching the Disney shows on travel channel. #4. Listening to Utilidors Audio Broadcasting, listening to Disney music collections in the car. #5. Reading the billions of books about Disney, Walt Disney World, Currently reading Realityland, and Treasure Island (to get into the Pirates kinda' mood) #6. Planning the upcoming trip for the family members who are joining us for DD's birthday. #7. Very important: Consciously not thinking about Disney when doing non-Disney related activities (going to the park, playground, working out, etc.).
