? About free dining if offered in 2009

Hello,
I would like to take advantage of the free dining next year, if it's offered again *fingers crossed*. But I am planning on going in Sept. no matter what..
If I book before the free dining is offered, and I have a Disney Visa card, can I call and have the free added? Also if I have dining ressies at Cinderella's Royal Table and have paid for it in full, will they refund the $$?
Thanks guys... I'm kinda crazy about the details of free dining!
Suzanne

We had a trip planned for October this year. I booked it in February. Then the free dining came April 10. I called that day and changed it without any problems. I don't have a Disney Visa, but I still had no problems getting it changed. We had to make a date change, but everything was fine.
I did have a Cindy Table booked before the dining, then cancelled it. I received the refund in full a couple days after the cancellation. I didn't try and re-schedule with a change of dates because we went with other options. I got the the Akershus Princess Breakfast and 1900 Park Fare Dinner with Cinderella. I talked with both of my DDs and we were satisfied with what we got. The trade off of one breakfast to 7 (free) table meals was a no brainer for us!!

You'd have to call dining after you book free dining and have them modify your reservation. Those on the DDP don't pre-pay, but instead do a credit card on file.

It has been offered for the past couple of years. The current promotion is full for this year. People are hopeful that it will be offered again next year. Its often announced, if I recall correctly, in April or so for the coming September.

We booked a trip for over labor day weekend this year in February. Then when the free dining came out (first week of April), I called back and had them add the free dining to our package. This is our third or fourth year of going end of August and first week of September using the free dining plan.
