Pressed Coins...What Can You Tell Me??

So, I was thinking it would be fun for my son to do the pressed coins during our upcoming trip. So, I am wondering if there is any info you can give me. Is there a place to find all the pin locations, etc. TIA

My son started collecting pressed pennies at WDW 2 yrs ago & now he has them from alot of other zoos & amusement parks that we have been to. On our previous trips we have just collected pennies as we saw them but for our upcoming trip I will be trying to make a list. I have heard that alot of these websites have outdated info but here is what I have so far.

Deb Wills' site has all the listings (there are an awful lot). It's a nice little hobby for a child to have. But you won't get them all in one trip

It's the cheapest souvenir you can buy! It's fun collecting them from all the different places. There aren't that many machines that have similar designs, so there are plenty of different ones to get!

The only one of these links that I can get to open is allears.net. Can anyone advise if this is pretty up-to-date?

Just about any location you go into has at least one pressed penny machine. There are a few locations that have pressed quarters. Be prepared because carrying around all the change required to do them is heavy lifting. My DD looks for those machines now everywhere we go.

I LOVE pressed pennies...it's an obsession really. Right now I have 98 different pennies from WDW, not including quarters and pennies from DL. I have 2 of the books they sell to hold them in..one is completely full (64) while the other has space for 30...so if I go over that on this next trip..(which I plan on doing!!!) I will need a new book!!

The best thing to do is buy Airborne in the plastic tube...you can fit quarters inside it perfectly....I layer 2 quarters then a penny, so when I'm at the park, it's very easy to pop out just what I need!

You can also use M&M tubes (that mini M&Ms come in) to store quarters and pennies for pressing. Have fun!
