| Anyone ever been to Super Soap Weekend? I am this [] close to getting my best friend to agree to a trip to the World in 2009. She is not a Disney fan but she loves soaps. She is interested in the SSW but I have never been to the event and I don't know what to tell her it is all about. How is the atmosphere? Is it as fun as you make it or just completely overbearing with the crowd level? The selling factor for her to go is how many actors/actresses from GH will attend. Do they have front burner storyline actors or just whoever they can get to show up. I know if Maurice Bernard was to be there, I'd have to bring the paramedics with me before she even tried to do a meet and greet. |

| My mom and I LOVED SSW! The problem is though, you really only get to see a handful of the stars you want to see. I'm a OLTL fan, and I got to see 4 of the major stars. They get the headliners. It's just hard to see them What they do is set up the Fastpasses to give out individual people's time slots. You can usually get in line and get about 3--2 you really want, and 1 you like but could live without. In the morning they set up three lines, one for each show, to go into the turnstiles. If they do anything like this this fall, don't go in the line you want! Go to the shortest line, and walk right to where they are distributing FPs. You get to the lines a LOT quicker this way! We made the mistake of getting in the longest line the first day, and the second day just hopped in the shortest one and got right to our FP line. No need to wait for a cast member to "escort" you to the location for your FPs.
