Talking Another Crazy Disney Dream

Yikes, I thought I had shaken the bad Disney dreams but last night I had a doozy. How'd you like this as a new ADR system...

In my dream we were at the bottom of a very steep escalator in Epcot and each step had the name of a restaurant with a time and you were to jump on the step with the ADR you wanted. A step with 7 p.m. for Chefs de France passed by and my parents were like, "jump on, jump on!!!" But I made us keep waiting to see what else was available. All the subsequent steps that passed had really late times, like 10 p.m., and my mom and dad started screaming at me saying I made them miss out on Chefs, why didn't I call ahead. Then I started yelling back, "well you could've picked up the phone and called too." Boy, it was ugly. Glad this was just a dream! And thank goodness my ADRs are already made!!!

LOL!!! I had a Disney "nightmare" too. I was staying in the CR, and when I got to the room I looked out the window and it had a water-park view. I was disappointed that it wasn't a MK view (lol). So then I decided to get on the boards to get some information about something, and every time I typed in the web address, the computer would shut down. It was so frustrating! I just couldn't get to you all and I was getting so upset!

Weird how Disney makes its way into our dreams...

I love the idea of the ADR escalator though... you'd have to be exceptionally nimble, I'd say.

LOL.
My last Disney nightmare was a few days after we got back. My brother had gotten lost and he was about 8 years old again. I'm thinking I dreamt this because DS looks a lot like my brother did when he was young.

What a dream. I like the fact that we can tell these dreams to our PP friends and they totally understand. If I had that dream and told my DH he would have thought I was nutz. Some peoplejust don't get it it. Of course they are the ones who ask "How can you make a reservation for a resturant 180 days before the trip? We'll just wing it"

I did just this the other day after my dream of missing our Chefs de France ADR - which I was totally crushed about in my dream. DBF didn't get it at all and thought it was just plain weird. I used you guys in my defense - "Everyone on the boards has these dreams too!"

I love the escalator dream though...

I'm right there with ya! I have crazy Disney dreams ALL the time and DH just shakes his head at me. He said to me last night (after sharing some info I learned here) "what are you going to do after November?" I'm like 'what, just b/c the trip will be over I have to leave the boards...I don't think so". Who else understands our obsessing over a trip to the point of dreaming about it?? That escalator dream is hysterical!!

OMG I hear this all the time - When I tell people I need to call that far in advance
they always tell me that - that is just impossible, I always tell them to feel free to take my family of 7 there and try to just walk in somewhere. Please....If I want to go out to eat here we usually have to wait!!

I had posted a thread as well the other day about nightmares, they sure can be crazy!!

Trust me, you so don't leave the boards after your trip is over, the adventure just begins then....my trip was in May, and I just joined Passporter this month And, I just booked my next trip for December And, I have Disney dreamsnightmares all the time too. Last week, the night before I called to book for December, I had a dream that everytime I went to call, the CM on the phone would hang up on me! So, I feel your pain LOL
