| This past January it was so crowded at the MK that my family was whining to go back and swim so I sent them on their way and stayed for a few hours by myself.

| I did this when I went with friends two years ago. They didn't want to wake up early on our last day, and I wanted to go to Epcot, to see the Wonders of Life pavilion (which ended up being the last time it was open). I do not regret it one bit. There was NO ONE at WoL, I got on CC and BW before they closed them, and got to see some of the Santas in WS, which I hadn't had the chance because they never wanted to stop.

| It actually works pretty well. You shop and have it all delivered to the room . lol..When DH meets back up later, "what shopping?...Do you see any bags? " lol

| I routinely do this. My DH has some disabilities that make it difficult for him to be functional in the early morning. I get up and go to rope drop, park till I need a break, then call him to meet me for lunch. Often times he is "finished" long before I am ready to leave, so he goes "home" while I continue to park. This works great as long as both of you get to do what you want and don't mind doing things alone. I, personally, love my early morning times alone, doing just exactly what I want to do. |

| Great ideas. I might suggest to DH that he heads back to resort mid-afternoon for a nap. I'm an energizer bunny and a certified Disney geek so I can go from open to EMH closing. DH ~ not so much. Might lead to less conflicts.

| I did some shopping at DTD with my niece and Mother-in-law while DH and Father-in-law went off to the Daytona 500 experience (not DH's first choice, but he went to make his dad happy). We had a great time without the "boys", didn't have to explain how much we were spending or if they were having a good time. It was a great break in the middle of the trip, and we were all getting a little tired of the 'togetherness' anyway. Go for it!!

| GO FOR IT!! One of the best parts of my trip in August was when my whole family slept in and I had some alone time in Epcot! We had a few times when the girls did our own thing, and the boys and I had some alone time. My DH was happy to sit and relax at the resort and read. NOT ME! I couldn't sit still, even during the worst of the storms! Just be sure to let him know you'll be leaving and figure out a time when you'll be checking in with each other! My family trip worked out well with time together and time apart! ENJOY!
