| Hi, I've stayed at both and think they are great. You can't go wrong with either of them. That being said, I think I like Saratoga Springs just a little better. We had one of our best trips there last April. I have two small children and we really enjoyed the main pool and the pool in the Grandstand section. They have a great children's splash area which allowed my DH and I to sit and relax while we watched the kids have fun. The food there is great too. My husband also was able to try out the spa and he said it was "a little bit of heaven" We have another trip planned at SSR for Feb. My turn to try the spa!!!!! We can't wait. Also, Downtown Disney is just a walk away or a short bus ride away.

| I agree - I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. They're both beautiful resorts and one thing we do like is the convenience of being able to park right outside the building you're staying in.

| We didnt care for SS the noise level in the halls just echoed because everything was cement. The bus was usually full by the time it got to our stop. We started to travel over the bridge to another bus stop. The eating place and store which I thought was way to small shared registers. The one thing we did enjoy was the Restaurant. Food and service excellent. Have never stayed at OKW yet so cant help you there. Just know we wouldnt choose SS again. Just our thoughts though others seem to enjoy the place.

| I like SS better. Personally, I go with friends often and in their studios (unlike OKW) they have a vanity area outside the bathroom, with a sink and mirror, which is great for multiple people to get ready. I also like the furnishings a little better. As for their food court area, it is still a lot more advanced than OKW. It may be small and they share registers, but Goods to Go at OKW is nothing like it, and I think the food is better at SS.

| I've stayed at both and love them! That being said- I prefer Old Key West. I just stayed there a few weeks ago. The rooms (with the exception of the studios) there are a lot bigger than any other DVC resort since they were built before Disney realized how popular DVC would be. I love the homeiness (is that a word?) of OKW too. And the biggest plus was last week we didn't share the buses with any other resort.

| I have only stayed at OKW - but I really enjoyed it there! It is a beautiful resort and it is very quiet and peaceful!

| SSR gets my vote. We decided to check out other resorts on one trip and OKW was one we visited. No real food courts to speak of, one tiny pool bar.....just weren't impressed. On the other hand SSR has a nice food court, the Turf Club, wonderful main pool as well as quiet pools. We'd choose SSR anytime.

| I like OKW better. This is one of those questions that there is no right answer for. But reasons why I like it more: 1) Rooms are bigger (especially the 1 bedroom!) 2) Points are lower 3) I find it quieter 4) For me, the main pool is more convenient from more of the resort 5) Again for me, I truly LOVE the atmosphere. It just says vacation to me, whereas SSR is a little more structured.

| We have stayed at both, but SS is our "home." While we did enjoy OKW, we really missed SS. We stayed in a studio at OKW and it was very large for a studio, but I agree that the mirror/sink combo in the bathroom made getting ready annoying. We had to use the sink in the kitchenette from time to time. I like the fact that the vanity area is outside the bathroom in the SS studio instead of in the bathroom at OKW. Our room was near the bus stop and pool, which was nice. It was a very relaxing resort, but felt dated. Of course, it's over 10 years old. The points were cheaper, which is the main reason we chose it for our 10 day trip. While we have no real complaints, we probably won't stay there again, because it didn't feel like "home." If you stay there, however, definately eat at "Olivia's." It was delicious! Now SS is truly "home" for us, probably because it is the DVC we purchased. I guess it's a mind thing. When we get there we instantly feel comfortable and like we belong there. The studios are smaller, but so beautiful. We have stayed in a studio and a two-bedroom. We always try to get the Grandstand section because it's closer to the first bus stop and it has a nice "quiet" pool. The walk to the main building is not bad, either. I do admit that the food court/gift shop check-out is strange and wish they would fix that, but the food at the Artist's Palette is wonderful! So much better than a burger and fries! The pool area is fabulous and they always have activities going on. Once we were able to make ice-cream around the pool. That was fun. Maybe they do activities at OKW, but I don't know. I really don't think you will go wrong with either resort. I would have no problems staying at OKW again if we needed to save our DVC points.
