| I was thinking about this while gardening yesterday and I came up with a different perspective. The Year of a Million Dreams was a "be in the right place at the right time" thing. I was in the parks 4 times during the promotion and never won anything. While it would've been nice, it wouldn't make me change my vacations in any way. With the What Will You Celebrate promotion, I still feel the same way -- I'll go when it's convenient and I'll enjoy what they offer, but I won't count on it. I'm just glad that they'll have the theme "present" as I always feel that going to Disney is a celebration in itself. Eileen

| It is a nice promotion.... but my birthday falls during the week before Easter this year... so I will not use it...Not going to fight the crowds for a 'free' day.

| I am planning my 40th birthday (Sept 1st) at Disney next year--so it HAPPENS to work out for me. But, it is TOTALLY a fluke that it does, as the only reason it works out is that Labor day falls late next year. (In Michigan school can't start until AFTER Labor Day, so my kids start school a little later than normal. This allows a late summer trip without the kids missing school.) All that being said, I am personally excited about the theme, but can certainly understand the disappointment.

| I think it's a wonderful promotion. It's better than nothing, ain't it? I am sure that they're going to celebrate other events as well.

| I was tickled by it because my birthday is the same as a famous rodent couple--Mickey and Minnie. I am also an AP holder so I was glad to hear that we could get a different gift. I am really tickled that it you can get a fun card. It'd be a real toss up between that and a fast pass. I registered my bday and printed out my confirmation the day the announcement was made!!! i can't wait to hear reports on what people got instead of free admission.

| The only birthday that we could possibly celebrate next year would be DDs. She's pushing for it. Mine is during President's week. Not a good time for airfares and resort prices. DS and DH both are at the end of August and school will just have started. Can't miss classes. But, I think the whole promotion is really neat and I hope lots of people will be able to take advantage of it. If I could, I'd be getting that Gift Card and spend it on a good meal at one of my favorite restaurants.

| I guess we're part of the minority that this promo will actually help. It just so happens that next year is DD's 10th birthday. That means she gets a trip to WDW, just the 2 of us, over her birthday. I was only disapointed when I thought the free ticket thing wasn't going to help us. But giving her gift card will be a big highlight for her. I also like some of the other specialty things they're adding like a dance party and special decorations for meals. |

| My birthday is New Year's Eve....Isn't that WDW's busiest day of the year?!? Maybe if they offered free admission on your anniversary......wait, my anniversary is July 4th.... It's a nice promotion for those who can take advantage of it.

| Thanks Eileen for bringing another view. Our birthdays fall at times that we just can't make it to WDW, but really it doesn't change much for us. We will just enjoy WDW anyway!! I was lucky enough to get a Dream Pass last Jan. though, & ears!! Have to say it was ![]()
