| We once went for a 3 night trip & my DH said never again, it's just not enough time. I think I would do a short trip again if it was a short trip or no trip. Make the most of the time you have with your son and don't worry about the ex. Quote:

When I booked the trip I figured it was the beginning of the year & he should be able to make it up pretty quickly. But the last couple of weeks I have been starting to worry about taking him out of school.

| On our second trip with the kids, we went for 6 days, and I felt like it was just not enough; however, I would take a 4 day trip over worrying about missing school (although, the first week, I don't think too much would be missed). Good luck with your decision! ( 4 days in WDW is better than no days too!)

I am a teacher and couldn't agree more! You're already worrying & feeling like it's not enough (travel day doesn't count 
) So add 1 more day and relax! Your son is only young once & Vacations are special times together!
