I let a TA to do it, I don't understand why people do it themselves for one if a problem arises who you going to call? I also found it cheaper sometimes, I just booked a Disney Trip and they gave me a $50 gift card, I would recommend vacationsnbeyond.com they are very good

TA may no some things you dont know either like specials, closure, etc

Make sure there a Disney Specialist though.

Another thing I seen some people had bad experiences with TA, not all Ta's are good so keep that in mind. I find though people that are Disney Specialists know what there talking about.

For most trips non Disney we have a fantastic travel agent who is not a disney specialist (obviously there is not the demand for one in Australia). We go online and find the best deals then hand over the printout details and let him work his commission and better the rates.
Disney bookings....do it all myself except airfares but again we give our TA a chance to better the inclusions/upgrades etc and decide then which is more beneficial for us.
