| Where can I get? Mickey Rice Krispy Treats? I saw someone write that they buy them for their kiddos take to their classmates once they return home. Around how much are they? How many come in a box/pack or however they come packaged. Also, would they have to be checked or can I carry them on the plane? Thanx! Christine Last edited by ChristineJ; 07-09-2009 at 03:29 PM.. |

| You can pretty much buy them in any of the gift shops. On our last trip, these were DD's favorite snack. I don't remember the cost, but I know that if you are on the DP, you can use a snack credit to buy them. I believe that DD brought some home in her carry on bag. They could get a little melted in a checked bag.

| I want to say they're something like 2.69 or so each. At least that's what I think I read on the menus at Allears.

| We got them in the past couple of weeks in the food courts at both All Star Sports and Pop Century . . . I also saw them in Capt. Cook's at the Poly as well as many gift shops around property (parks and resorts). ![]() I bought 2 of them this past Saturday . . . I believe they were $2.79. ![]() They are now sitting on my kitchen counter and I can't quite bring myself to eat them yet. Once they are gone, they are gone and I don't know when the next trip will be so that I can get another. ![]()

| I got a lot of them at Roaring Forks at the WL. They make a good breakfast. I put mine in my carry-on for the flight. No problems.

| They have lots of neat ones in the candy shops at each park and at Goofy's Candy Company in Downtown Disney. They also have them at the "EarPort" store at MCO. Eileen

| As everyone else has said, you can get them all over WDW. Don't know how many you're planning to bring back, but keep in mind that they're pretty big compared to the typical Rice Krispie treats that come 8 or 10 to a box at the grocery store. I've only seen them packaged individaully at WDW. Bringing back enough for a class (15 - 20) would take up a lot of room.

| Tip: If you're on the dining plan and you have extra CS credits, you can get four of these treats for one CS credit. You can get them at any food court and many of the shops in the parks. We ended up bringing home 12 of these on our last trip!

I rice crispy treats and no one makes them as good as Disney does!On our SWA flight home last August, the flight attendant asked how many people went to WDW, and about half of the plane raised their hands. Then he said, "if anyone has any of those mickey rice crispy treats with the chocolate, I will need you to leave those with me." ![]() ![]()

| We brought six back last trip to give as gifts to DDs friends, cousins, etc. Strangely, after a week or two, when we went to give them out, they had disappeared! Only the sticks were left, hidden under a certain little girl's bed! "They were SO nice Daddy, too nice to share, and I only ate one at a time!" HHHHHMMMMMM!!!!!!! Can't say I blame her though!!!

| As mentioned, lots of places have them. Our first time on the DDP, because of having 2 desserts a day, we had lots of snack credits left, so we stocked up on these, and put them in our checked bags, and they arrived fine. I think it's probably hotter inside the cabin than in the cargo hold. I now use my snack credits for breakfast, bagels, muffins, cereal & milk, etc and my resort mug for my drink.

| Last year I found them individually wrapped, but sold in boxes at the Confectionary at the MK. I gave those to teachers as part of their christmas gifts. I want to say they come 6 in a box. Sorry I can't remember the price. What I did for my kids was buy 2 of the HUGE mickey rice krispie treats at the confectionary and that is what they took in to share with the class. I packed them in my carry on bag. After going through the scanner security says to me "we need to check that bag" I was like what! Here the rice krispie treats look "really funny" in the xray machine!! Anyway, they traveled just fine in the carry on and were a big hit with friends at school.

I know I would be super fat! These are my favorite treats in "The World". I always bring some back but hate to admit that I don't share them....I'm selfish I guess. | |
