In that case, I would choose March. Crowds should be a little smaller than Christmas break, it's cheaper, and you get to go sooner. But if your heart is really set on seeing the Christmas decorations, then go for it! I'm sure you'll have an amazing time no matter what you choose. Good luck!

In my head I tell myself that we were just there in July, I can make it until December, but I really want to go now!!! Maybe I can talk my husband into going both months! it sounds like from what I am hearing Christmas week is not so great? We are used to going in the middle of July with the heat and the crowds. Do you still think Christmas week would not be a good choice?
Thanks guys!
We're in the same boat (so to speak). I am also a teacher and so my trips are limited to school vacations, too. I understand your dilemna. I would love to see the world at xmas time, but everything I have heard about crowds that week (in addition to the higher cost) makes me think twice. We went in the spring this year and found the weather to be perfect. We didn't have too much trouble with crowds but our week was outside of the busiest spring break times. Good luck with your decision.
