Airport security issues for Disney Pins/Lanyards

I am just about completely packed for our Disney vacation that starts tomorrow.
I would like to pack our Disney lanyards in our carry on bags but I am worried that the multiple Disney collectible pins on the lanyards will set off some type of security alert at the airport and we will have to get rid of them before boarding. Has anyone had any experience with Disney pins packed in their carry on luggage? Right now I have our 10 day park passes in my carry on bag so that we can use those right away even if our luggage is lost and the lanyards are in our checked baggage.

They got my bag set to the side for additional checking but I did not get mine taken away. You could always wear them and set them in a tub for the machine to see outside of your bag.

We always carry them on as well (those things would not be cheap to replace!) and we've never had a problem. We just put them in our carry on bag and it goes through the scanner. We've actually never even had our bag checked afterwards! But if they did check it, I can't imagine they would make you toss them.

GL! Have a great trip- I'm so jealous!

We haven't had any trouble with our Disney pins at airports.
I fly often with my 4 x12 inch slab of DAR insignia in my carryon -- it's more dangerous than my Disney pins and no one looks twice at those either.
