Do you want them ahead of time or once you get to Disney?

If you want to purchase some prior to your trip, you can get them at any Disney Store location or by mail/telephone at:

Just note that you'll have to pay shipping charges and be specific about the dominiations you want ($1, $5, or $10).

If you want to wait until you get to the parks, from what I've read, you can buy them at City Hall in MK, at the front desks at the hotels, and at retail locations throughout WDW.

I believe the Disney Stores have stopped selling Disney Dollars effective early last month. There are some stores that may still have them but they are selling off whatever they have in stock and once they are gone, they are gone. I asked the manager at our Disney Store a couple of weeks ago if they had any left and she said they are out and will not be getting more.

You can still get them from Guest Services and such at the parks and resorts, however.

Last I've heard, the paper Disney Dollars are on their way out in favor of the Disney Gift Cards.

You know I found that information primarily from the Moms Panel site, but I didn't think to add the word "discontinued." LOL

But not surprisingly, Sarah is right ! As of October 4th, the stores have stopped selling Disney Dollars, but may still have some left in stock for sale.

However, they are apparently still available at the parks should you choose to get them vs. the more available Disney gift cards.

My sister tried to get me some Disney Dollars for my birthday last month and was told they would no longer be selling them.
