Halloween Horror Nights & MNSSHP Hi everyone...I've been planning a trip to WDW and US/IOA for Sept., but i'm thinking about moving it back to Oct. and doing 3 days at US/IOA and 5 or 6 days at WDW. I've already bought a 5 day Hopper, a 6 night pass to PI and a 2 Park Power Pass to US/IOA, which is an AP with blackout dates. The train and hotel prices are the same, but I have a question...Is HHN and MNSSHP worth the extra $130 that it'll cost to do 2 nights of HHN and 1 night of MNSSHP? I like halloween and I love being scared, so I'd like to ride the rides in the dark, and I would LOVE to see HM at Disney with the Nightmare before Christmas characters added. Also, how crowded is it during Oct.? Thanks Cheers

Re: Halloween Horror Nights & MNSSHP Barry, it has been a few years now since we had done the MNSSHP and do hope to be able to do it again some time in the future. I thought it was well worth the money and we had a howling time that night in the MK. Never have done the HHN but have heard it is FANTASTIC! I didn't think the crowds too bad. Halloween rates as one of my favorite seasons to visit the Orlando area. BUT DO GO IN COSTUME

Re: Halloween Horror Nights & MNSSHP I was at MNNSHP last October and HOPING to get there again this October. It is Not So Scary but really cute. There is a special Halloween Parade that is only done on MNSSHP nights. The Headless Horseman racing up Main Street with sparks flying from the hooves of the huge, black horse was sooooooo cool. They also have perimeter fireworks. If you haven't had that experince, it's worth the money. And definately, go in costume. As for that other park, don't know.

Re: Halloween Horror Nights & MNSSHP Never done MNSSHP, but would like to, and am trying like anything to get DH to go this year. As for HHN, this is the reason why DH is hesitating on Mickey's party. We did HHN three years ago...it was not so much fun. Very, very crowded. Long lines for all the special areas they set-up. Just a total drag. Maybe it has gotten better as they have gone along, but I wouldn't do it again unless I hear different experiences than ours.

Re: Halloween Horror Nights & MNSSHP Hi We did both HHN and MNSSHP in 2000 and loved them both, Oct/Nov is a great time to be at WDW. We loved it so much we are going to both again this year. HHN has moved this year to IOA and looks to be scarier than ever. I say go at this time and do them both Kaylee

Re: Halloween Horror Nights & MNSSHP We're gonna be there - hope you join us!! I'm not attending the merchandise event on 10/30 though "999 Haunts" or whatever it's called. Better to save my $$$ for special eats at Epcot!!
