Re: how about april? April is part of Peak Season, so there's very little chance for a discount, or to avoid the crowds. With no major holiday between President's Day and Easter, schools are free to schedule the break whenever they choose. When combined with Easter week... well, that's why it's called Peak Season. The weather will be great (another reason for the popularity). Daytime temperatures average around 85, evenings in the 60's, nice breezes, lots of sun, not a lot of rain.

Re: how about april? DH and I were just there 4/25-4/29. The crowds were light and the weather was hot. We had a code for the moderates and got a room at PO-R for $89 per night. I do not know if they will be offering that in 2003. Good luck.

Re: how about april? thanks all! from what i can gather, looks like april is kind of dicey, as far as crowds. i'll be moving our surprise back one week and heading out on 5/8 instead! thanks for the help!
