Fantasmic Meal Package Charge/No Charge

Made our Fantasmic meal package ressies back in mid-September. Gave them my debit card #. Still hasn't been charged. Called back once about three weeks ago, worried maybe the ressie didn't take, they said it was o.k. they were a little behind. Seemed odd to me, in the past Disney take the money out of my account before the end of business that day!! Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Fantasmic Meal Package Charge/No Charge

Hi guys,

So what is the deal with this dinner package? I've seen it alluded to several times but haven't seen any particulars.
Thanks

Re: Fantasmic Meal Package Charge/No Charge

I just booked mine a couple weeks ago, and the CM said that the card was used only to hold a reservation and payment did not have to be made that night.

We booked our packages at the Hollywood and Vine since that was the dinner we liked the best.

Jaygatz-what type of information are you looking for??

Re: Fantasmic Meal Package Charge/No Charge

jaygatz,

This is reservations at a specific Disney Studio Buffet resturant. By booking in advance and gaurenteeing the ressie with a charge card, you stop at guest relations at the park entrance and pick up "vouchers" to got into the Fantasmic! show without waiting in the general guest line. They still suggest you que up 30 minutes before show time, but you sit in special reserved seating. There is no cost except for the price of the buffet dinner.

Re: Fantasmic Meal Package Charge/No Charge

Make sure of all your plans when you book the dinner package cause there are no refunds! It will say it right on your ticket. DH and I had booked dinner at H&V around 6pm. Well around 3pm we had done the whole park and really didn't feel like staying any longer and had decided to skip Fantasmic, but our dinner was already paid for and we couldn't get a credit for it, so we went to H&V at 3:30 when they started seating for dinner and asked if we could eat earlier instead, they seated us right away.
