Re: Wishes Fireworks CD

From what I've read there'll be a Wishes CD out sometime this month. Main Street Megastore will deffinitely have it when it's out. And of course WDW park merchandising at 407-363-6200. Places like Amazon will have it eventually too but probly not as quickly.

Also, look for wdwmagic to have a full Wishes video up any day now. Can't wait

How great was it? Were'd you watch it from? Favorite part? Would love a review. I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing it.

Re: Wishes Fireworks CD

First let me say it is spectacular!

We were there last week and saw the Wishes twice. The first time was at Ohana's. I thought it was great. They played the "music" over the intercom but could not hear it very well. There was also condensation the windows and did not get a clear view. But still thought it was great. It was not until we went into the MK and I saw it right in front of my eyes! It is AWESOME!! You really get the full effect and can put the music and fireworks together as a story. Hope that makes sense. We watched the fireworks from the train station at MK. There are chairs and tables up there. You get a great view of the castle and you can see tinkerbell! It was the highlight of our trip! We video taped the whole thing and it is great! My girls love watching it over and over again! I am so excited that they are coming out with a CD. Where did you see that information?

Re: Wishes Fireworks CD

Oh boy, I am getting so excited, I think I am worse than the kids! We are having dinner at 'Ohana on Sunday night (11/30) when we get there, I am hoping that we can catch a Wishes preview from there before our fireworks cruise on Wednesday! I know this is off topic, but I just had to comment. Sorry!!!

Re: Wishes Fireworks CD/Video

Thanks for the great review Jennifer! I'm so psyched for this show! The CD info comes from CMs. A couple of whom already have demo copies. Things can always change on this stuff, but they're saying this month.

Also, the full video did just go up at wdwmagic It's a big file for a 12 minute video (100MB) so I'm guessing the quality's pretty good. By comparison, the "Believe" video at disneylandsource (also good quality) was only 26MB for the same length.

Downloading now...can't wait to check it out later!

Re: Wishes Fireworks CD/Video

Yeah, I think it's like 3 bucks a month. Everything else over there (including registering for the forums) is free. But, he's got litteraly 100s of MB of video and music available and it became a bandwidth issue (explanation here). Fans of the site didn't wanna lose it and came up with as painless a fee structure as possible. You also get a spot to store a ton of digital images too which is nice.

Anyway though, yeah there's a fee for audio/video stuff. Eventually, I'm sure somebody'll get it up for free. There're some fellas with all kinds of Disney video up on IRC???...or something like that. I've never been able to figure it out though. For sure it'll be up for free there at some point...wherever there is

Re: Wishes Fireworks CD/Video 2

Well, of course there's another rumor that the wishes CD won't be released "anytime soon". I'm goin with it coming out sooner rather than later though. There's already a bunch of demos printed up. Just print a bunch more at a buck a pop. Turn around and sell em at $10-$15. And I don't think there's any risk they wouldn't sell.

And here's a Wishes video up for free download at wdisneyw.co.uk. Looks like it's broken into parts, which would actually be easier to download with slower connections.

Also saw a rumor that the in-park "park music" recording kiosks might be coming back in the near future. Rumor says Disneyland first, then probly WDW. Would love to see that happen

Re: Wishes Fireworks ??

I have got to say that you all have such incredible information and are making me get more and more excited about this trip every day...

My only regret is that I cannot stay longer than 5 days....

There is so much to see and I am afraid of missing out on the things like shows and fireworks and worry that I may make reservations on the night of the fireworks as a schedule is not up for February yet..

How do you all do it?
