What a brilliant idea

Chris is brilliant and geez I love him for it. He came up with the best idea today. He was checking flights and we would have to fly home at 5:45 PM which means we would have to leave around 3:30 to go to the airport. So instead of flying home that day we are going to stay over at the hotel in the Orlando airport and then fly home early on the 21st. We will check out of the Poly and have then hold out luggage that way we have some extra time at Disney. I love that idea. Sorry a little excited. Has anyone ever stayed there before?? If so is it nice and do you know the name of it so we can call and make ressies? Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: What a brilliant idea

Sounds wonderful!! I THINK the name of the hotel is the Hyatt.

Here's a link to the hotel and airport page.

Re: What a brilliant idea

Congrats, if I end up going solo, maybe I will do the same, cause I hate losing that last day, especially if I end up arriving late ugh. My sister, she doesn't mind leaving early grrrrrr. Whats up with that? lol

Awesome!
The Poly is also sooo wonderful. Have you made plans to have some Tonga Toast at the Kona Cafe there?

Re: What a brilliant idea

We stay at the airport hotels on our arrival night, if arriving on a Friday afternoon after work.... and on the night before our departure... it saves us some money over paying for a Disney Resort when we won't be utilizing it the next day... and gives us piece of mind that we won't miss our early return flight home... We've stayed at the Sheraton nearby the airport (free shuttle service) which walking distance to a number of good chain restaurants... We got a Suite Room (sitting area with fold out couchbed and separate king bedroom) for $79 night... It has a decent indoor/outdoor swimming pool too... Nice safe hotel area...
