? about annual pass room discount We are leaving for Disney in 16 days or so and we were just about to purchase annual passes this weekend. Our first 3 nights of our vacation we were going to stay at an off-site hotel because we were going to visit family and I didn't want to waste DVC points on nights that we weren't going to be in Disney all that much. But looking around and seeing the great discounts for passholders, I'm rethinking this and thinking about maybe staying at a moderate resort for the first 3 nights since it would be cheaper than the off site hotel. My question is, is it possible to reserve a room with the passholder discount less than 2 weeks out? I know I read that they charge the first nights rate as your deposit about 14 days out, but what if you are passed that and it's only, say, 12 or 13 days out? Can it still be done? Thanks so much in advance!!

Re: ? about annual pass room discount I don't believe that the AP discounts have to be booked by a certain date (like the room only codes). I think as long as there are rooms available, you should be able to book the AP code. Hopefully someone will come along to confirm this

Re: ? about annual pass room discount Like everyone here has said, it wouldnt hurt to make a phone call down to Disney and see if they have any rooms available to see if they can honor your AP! Hey a phone call could save you some $$$$! And saving money is always good!

Re: ? about annual pass room discount If there are any AP rooms available, they'll probably be at the deluxe resorts and at the better views. So 'yes' you'd probably be able to get an AP rate, but doubt if it would be at a moderate. Depends on how much you want to spend, but if you could stay at WL or AKL at a great rate, would you? ![]() CALL! And let us know what happens!
