JUly crowds

Having survived the New Years Holiday crowds this year we decided we miss WDW & just booked a long weekend in July (July 15-20 to be exact)

How are the crowds during that time? I'm sure more than normal but how would they compare to holiday crowds?

Re: JUly crowds

It is definitly not as bad as the Christmas holiday crowds. It is, of course, hotter making you tend to go a bit slower. Actually after the 4th, the crowds tend to lessen a bit. The parks are open late at night, so it is easier to take an afternoon break to swim or otherwise relax. We have gone then several times and it isn't too bad. You do tend to run into more tour groups, especially teens from Brazil and other South American groups as it is usually their winter break time.

Re: JUly crowds

We ran into a group from Paraguay when we were on a 45 minute line for Big Thunder and they sang and chanted through the whole line. I was never so relieved to get on a ride in my life! lol

Just keep cool and avoid the parks in midafternoon by going to the hotel to swim or watch air conditioned shows and you shouldn't have a problem. Have a great trip!
