I don't believe this. I went to the store at lunch today and went to pay and my visa checkcard is missing. I called and cancelled right away, and no one used it. (thank goodness) But, it is going to take 5-7 business days to get the new one. Seven business days is June 9th and we leave for disney June 10th. I really hope it isn't late. Not the end of the world, as I have my other credit cards, and I can get the money from the bank in Traveller's checks if I have too. But, what lousy timing.

What bad timing. Is there anyway the bank could rush it? Maybe if you explain the situation to them?

I tried that, and they did give me a temp debit card (not visa) that is good for 30 days. Well, at least I can get cash out, but prefer not to carry that. Hopefully, it will still get here in time.

I hope your new card arrives before you leave! I'm really glad no one used it--I always worry about that!
Last time I lost mine, the new one came pretty quickly. Of course, a few weeks later I found the original card under the floor mat on the drivers side of my car. How did it get there?!?

Eww that is bad timing! I have had that happen to me and it has come before the 7 day mark. Here is to wishing that it comes in before your vacation!
