Re: Regular vs. Value Season Prices You can go to the official WDW world site ( disneyworld.com ) and see for yourself. The rates are listed. If memory serves me correctly, I don't believe there are huge differences between regular and value, but there are between value and holiday times.

Re: Regular vs. Value Season Prices We went the last days of value season 2003 (December 14-20) and had the park all but to ourselves! There was hardly a wait for anything...the only waiting we did was for shows to start! We even got seats to Cinderella's Royal Table on my first call, at 9 am 2 days after the seatings opened (oops!). It was beautiful for the holidays, MVMCP was fantastic, and the world was just pure magic...a little chilly, but I'd rather be cool than HOT! We defintely could tell the crowds rolling in by the 19th though...the parks were much more crowded for Christmas that day. I'd say early December is PERFECT! ~Katie

Re: Regular vs. Value Season Prices There are usually more discounts available on rooms during the value season (vs the regular season)... or at least the discounts are steeper. We were there the first week of October '03 just as it changed over from value to regular. The crowds were still low, but it was hot and humid and in hurricane season. (We never got any rain!!) Just before Columbus Day, it starts to get more crowded. I'd recommend the weeks before Christmas - which span value and regular and head into peak season. We were there Dec 4-10 '02 and the weather was ideal. We're going back this November, the week before Thanksgiving - it's still value season and the weather should be pretty good. I've heard on this board and others that the attendance is pretty low then as most people don't start arriving for the Thanksgiving break until Sunday. Hope you find something perfect! Eileen PS - here's a valuable hint I learned from this board: if you check in on the last day of a value season but your stay extends into the next season, you get the rate of the day you checked in. We did this in Oct 03 and got value rates for the first week of the regular season! Conversely, if your visit starts in an expensive season but extends into a cheaper season, you can make two reservations and do a check out-check in and get the lower rate for your remaining days.
