| This waiting is AGONY.........   I leave for WDW in 18 days!!! This waiting is killing me.  I'm not sure when I should start packing. Any suggestions?  I don't know what to do to pass the time.  I'm reading  the boards everyday to get last minute ideas for our trip. I hope this time goes by quickly. After having endured a horrible year with terrible family issues  , I look forward to a great  time with my husband and son. Best of luck to those in Florida (my dad included) who have endured their own **llish month with back to back hurricanes.  |

| Re: This waiting is AGONY......... You mean you AREN'T PACKED ALREADY??? LOL Yes, the last couple of weeks is unbearable. Try looking up some Disney Recipes and making a dish or two. Do you have a "I don't want to forget list?" or a "Last minute check list?" Camera? Extra Batteries? (mine was hard to find and very expensive down at WDW, but was glad to have found 1 ) Rain gear? These next few days will pass and you will soon be on your way  Enjoy your vacation! (and GET PACKING!!!)   |

| Re: This waiting is AGONY......... I would've started packing already, but that's just me!  I always have a box set aside for things to take to WDW with us, so I'm always packing on - off. Best of luck with the rest of the countdown and I hope it goes really quickly for you.    |

| Re: This waiting is AGONY.........  I'm going crazy too, and I still have 40 days left. 38 if you can count travel days. Can you count travel days?? I can't wait. DH and his DM does not get it. They think this is just another amusement park (they've never been). His mother even had the nerve to compare it to Dollywood. PLEASE!! Anyway. I have resulted in starting to paint things in my house to pass the time. I started with my fireplace and now the whole living room and hall has to be painted. Of course. Anything to keep the days rolling away. I'm glad I have these boards and people that really understand the Disney Magic. Maybe after this trip my DH will get it too. Ella |

| Re: This waiting is AGONY......... Well, I didn't pack until about 3 days before the trip. Just couldn't bring out the suitcases and look at them! I spent my time on the boards, reading trip reports, and overanalyzing my plans  It'll be here before you know it, the time will pass quickly!  |

We've even decided to leave on Saturday and stay off site, so that we can enjoy all day Sunday at the parks! I haven't started packing yet either. | Re: This waiting is AGONY......... Count me on the 18 days left and going nuts. SINCE I was stuck in the house for 3 days thanks to little storm Frances. I went ahead and pulled down the suitcase for "STUFF" for the cruise, (fins, masks, floats, etc etc). Clothes will have to wait until I either get deployed or until I get back from the Coral reef task force meeting next week in Miami..... THEN I can start packing clothes.  |

We haven't started packing either - but I have accumulated some items that I know we will need in one of our travel bags. Time will go by before you know it though, so I guess we better get packing too. Here's to hoping that none of us have to reschedule due to Ivan or any other bad guys!   more hurricanes!!! |

I don't actually start packing until the week before, but I do have a room that I accumulate things in that I know we need to take. I also start watching more Disney movies than normal! We have this great one about Disneyland(it's a Sing Along one) that puts me in the mood! Stephanie |
