Flower and Garden Festival

Has anyone been during this time? My BF and I have Disney fever and we just got home from Disney...we are planning on going back April or May 2005 can anyone tell me the best time to go with the least amount of crowds?

Re: Flower and Garden Festival

April will be busier then May due to spring breaks. I have been to Disney Memorial Day weekend 2002 and it really wasn't that busy...I have also been in early June 2003 and found the crowds to be low. Early May is a great time as far as the crowds but it will be hot and maybe very hot. Although the F&G Festival is not to be missed!! This year I am going to be going back to Disney to see the F&G Festival although I have yet to decide exactly when.

Re: Flower and Garden Festival

We went the last week of April, it was very hot and humid and very crowded. However, the Flower show was amazing. It was the first time I have been to it and I loved it. Below are some of the picture I took; I hope they help you decide:

Re: Flower and Garden Festival

We went May 15-28 this year and absolutely loved the festival. The first part of our trip we had next to no crowds, but the later it got, the more crowded the park became. I think May is a wonderful time to go!

Re: Flower and Garden Festival

We went in the first two weeks of May this year and it was a lovely time of the year to be in Disney - the crowds were very low and the weather was perfect, sunny and hot nearly every day.

Re: Flower and Garden Festival

May is a great time to go, though the parks keep getting busier and busier each year. I'd suggest going in early May -- the first two weeks. That way you narrowly miss all of the Memorial Day long-weekenders and can still enjoy the lovely weather, and the F&G festival!
