| Richard Petty Experience? I am taking my 8 y/o GD and her 27 y/o dad, who is a big NASCAR fan to WDW Jan 9th-15th. We've all had a rough year and I want to make this trip as magical as possible. It will be the first trip to WDW for all of us. We will be arriving Sunday around 11:00am and leaving WDW Saturday around 4:30pm. Anyway I have PS for Chef Mickey's, Donald's Breakfastosaurus, CRT, CP, Whispering Canyon, Bomas, and Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Pkg for my GD. On Friday night we are seeing La Nouba at 9:00pm. I would like to do something special for my son that last full day though and was thinking about the Richard Petty Rookie Experience (8 laps). Is it worth it and do you think he would enjoy it or would it be better to spend that full day in the parks? Our plane doesn't leave until 6:30 pm Saturday, so we would still have most of Saturday to spend in the parks or DTD. |

| Re: Richard Petty Experience? My DH has done the ride along and the 1/2 day driving experience. He loved it! I say go for it, if he's into driving fast (and most men seem to be!) It would be great. Enjoy your trip. It's a wonderful, calm time to visit the world. As you can see I'll be there myself celebrating my birthday on the 15th. |
