Tips for touring solo? DH has a conference and will be at the Swan/Dolphin during the day. I'm not sure what I should do on my own. I've done a tiny bit alone in the past, when DH has been on Space Mountain or ToT. I tend to shop, and maybe repeat a ride I like a lot, but what about full days?

Re: Tips for touring solo? Oh it is so much fun doing WDW solo!! My sister lives in Kissimmee and is a teacher so when I go to visit she often has to work. That leaves me with the whole day by myself. I do alot of character meet & greets, go on lots of rides (single rider line!) and just bounce around from park to park. There is no rush and no one tugging at you to go to this place or that. It is so much fun! My sister usually meets up with me after she gets out of school and we go to see one of the fireworks shows or Spectormagic!

Re: Tips for touring solo? Yep, CM's are more than hapy to take the picture for you. Really take advantage of the time alone - go on the rides you love using the single-rider line, eat at the restauarant you've been dying to try and get as many pictures with characters as possible. Most importantly take it slow, relax and have a great time!

Re: Tips for touring solo? Also, if your DH will be free for the evenings (and the parks are open late enough), Disney has offered "after 2PM tickets" to conventioners in the past. Don't know if they will still offer these with the Magic Your Way tickets, but it's worth checking into with Disney or the convention organizers. Here is a site that might be able to get you the info you need: http://disneymeetings.disney.go.com/...cketGatingPage I'd take a tour - like Keys to the Kingdom. Eileen

Re: Tips for touring solo? Solo touring is addictive. Once you try it, you may want to ditch your DH on every trip! I've made 6 solo trips in the past few years and I have trip reports from each of them on my web page: www.willcad.org I also wrote a small article on the subject for the Passporter News back in December: http://www.passporterboards.com/ubb/...;page=0#680207 Don't worry, solo touring is fantastic!

Re: Tips for touring solo? I just got back from a solo trip a couple of weeks ago. The best thing I did was to do the Backstage Magic tour. It takes 7 hours but it was really great. If you have an AP, it's $169, otherwise it's $199. That includes a fabulous lunch at Mama Melrose's. Anne R.
