Food and Wine (and beer) festival A certain DBF is interested in attending the Food and Wine Festival ("they have beer - right?"). I am not sure if we would go in October or November since, if my health holds (we will know that answer in a couple of weeks) we could be headed to either DC or Chicago for a marathon at the end of October. Which means we may be looking at the beginning of November. I think we would focus on EPCOT, MGM with a possible stop at AK. Not sure if we'd make MK since Scott didn't really like it much last time.

Re: Food and Wine (and beer) festival We did the Food & Wine Festival in Nov of 2003 and it was an AWESOME time to go! The weather was comfy, dry and warm, without being hot! The crowds weren't bad - they went in spurts - Saturday was outrageous, and Sunday was dead!!! No lines at all! They most certainly do have beers - hopefully the American place will be offering their Sam Adams seminar again - my FIL thought that was awesome!

Re: Food and Wine (and beer) festival We went in Nov 2003 and again in Oct 2004. Saturdays were the only truly crowded days either time. Both times, there were quite a few places for beer. There were a couple places where it was a special tent just for beer. They had special beer seminars, tasting and a dinner as well. I really love the F&W Fest - you can sample all kinds of stuff with little commitment. Its only a couple bucks for a small portion so if you don't like something its not like you're paying $30 for a meal. I also liked sampling the different wines - I am not a wine person so a few sips is perfect to see if I like it or not.

Re: Food and Wine (and beer) festival Terri, Joe and I went this past Nov 6-13. Most days I thought is was as crowded as we've seen in July. I think a lot of that had to do with people rescheduling trips delayed from the hurricanes, though. We had a great time and highly reccommend the Sam Adams seminar. We tasted lots of really yummy beers. Hope you health holds, tenya

Re: Food and Wine (and beer) festival We went to the food and wine festive in early October. As others have said, Saturday was the only crowded day. We had a great time and yes there's beer, but I'm not a beer drinker so I'm not too much help. Clio

Re: Food and Wine (and beer) festival We were also there Nov 6 - 14 and it was much more crowded everywhere than we had expected. A CM confirmed that many people had rescheduled to that time because of the hurricanes. Even though there were larger crowds, FWF was fantastic. We loved it so much that we are going back this year in October!

Re: Food and Wine (and beer) festival I just made ressies for this October, it will be our first F&W fest and I'm really looking forward to it...I may not be much of a drinker, but I can certainly eat!!!! Can't offer any opinions on crowds, but I think that Epcot is good at swallowing up a LOT of people without feeling crowded.
