| Cooling idea and magical express review Everyone thinks I'm crazy until they try it - use a lemon (or lime) as deodorant instead of antiperspirant/deodorant. Why? #1. Antiperspirant stops you from sweating and keeps you from keeping cool #2. The acidity in lemon removes the worst scent (I can attest to that) it lasts all day and works accumulatively so if you skip a day, no big deal #3. It's cheap - you can get free lemon wedges almost anywhere in the World, and lemon juice packets work just as well #4. It doesn't stain clothes, leaves no white residue and washes right out of your clothes (read as: you won't have to burn those stinky old tshirts anymore) #5. It smells really good and feels really refreshing if you want to reapply mid-day. #6. No one is arguing whether or not an organic lemons cause breast cancer, unlike store bought antiperspirants. Think I'm nuts? Try it, and you'll see! And for the person who asked about the Magical Express - we have had a variety of experiences with it. When we arrived during a low season, we were the only people who boarded the bus. It idled for 45 minutes and at last we took off, but only to drive around the airport for another 25 minutes to wait for other passengers to fill up the bus. The worst thing about it? The bus driver dropped us off last so we didn't get to our Disney hotel for more than two hours after we arrived. It was extremely frustrating. We no longer us the ME bus to take us from the airport to the hotels - we use a car service instead that makes a grocery stop along the way at no extra charge. Conversely, every time we have departed WDW using ME, the bus has left on time and with exceptional service. Lesson learned: talk to your bus driver when you arrive so you know what to expect - if the wait is going to be very long you can always choose another method of transportation. |

| Wow, I've never heard of using lemon as deodorant but will definitely give it a try! We got an information packet in the mail for our WDW trip yesterday and I couldn't help singing "When You Wish Upon a Star." The kids thought I was crazy...which I am...for Disney! I've had to wait 10 years to go back! |

| But a Tilley hat! They are the best for the Florida (or anywhere) sun - great brims to protect head and neck, cools you off just by putting it on, straps for wind, latest designs have airflo holes for venting. My whole family brings one each when we travel to WDW. Should you or kids still get overheated, you can fill brim with a bit of water to douse your head for immediate cooling. I'd highly recommend these hats. This is the one I currently wear. Tilley Endurables - The Finest Hats and Travel Clothing in the World

| Link to specific hat didn't post properly - should id it, I guess. I wear the LTM5 AIRFLO. Hat. BTW, all Tilley hats are waterproof too - great for rain (we wear them with ponchos)... and for you sailors out there, there is also a floatation thing in them, so if the hat falls overboard, they float for ease of retrieval. (And, no, I don't sell these - but I wish I did!)

| I am a dermatologist (who loves Disney) and have to also endorse Tilley hats as recommended by the Amercian Cancer Society to help prevent skin cancer. Sunscreen is not enough, especially in Florida. I also recommend using an infant sunstick (like waterbabies or other) to be able to apply sunscreen to nose / undereyes / lips / ears, etc several times a day. |

| My absolute best cool off tip is -- ride Splash Mountain and sit in the front row--then ride BTMRR (get a fastpass before riding SM) The combination of wet and then wind will get you through the hot afternoons!

| I think that we will plan to go back to the hotel at mid-day and then go to a park for EMH / dinner / show or fireworks. Don't forget to take off your shoes and cool off your feet! It really works wonders! Great list!
