Disney Dining Plan Question **UPDATE & ADDED A QUESTION**

I have a question regarding the dining plan. Since we are going for 8 nights (9 days) we would be getting 8 Table Serive Meals. Can you use 2 Table Service Meals in one day? For instance...we would use one at Chef Mickey's for breakfast and the other at the Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner. I know this would leave us short at the end of the week but there are a couple of days we would not be needing a table service meal.

Thanks in advance!

ADDED: Do they give you a list of the participating restaurants or should I print this info out before I leave home?

Re: Disney Dining Plan Question

Yes, from what I've read, you CAN use two sit down meals in one day if you so choose... you can also trade two sit down meals for a more expensive restaurant or a dinner show... HTH?

Re: Disney Dining Plan Question

Yep, you can use as many meals in a day as you want. However, I think the dining plan might be done by nights, not days. If you're there for 8 days, 7 nights I think you might only get 7 sit-down meals. I could be wrong, though, I looked into this a while ago. Hopefully someone will have more info

Yes , Melissa you are correct about the "per night" thing. With the dining plan option, you get one table service & one counter service meal per person, per night of stay. Once again, you can use as many of them as you choose in a day....(ie. CRT for b'fast then WCC for dinner).

Supposedly, you should receive a brochure upon check in, but I was told by a CM at WDTC that they won't send me one in the mail & that I could take a look at it on Disney's website. I just decided to print my own & it's already in my trusty PassPorter with the restaurants I'm interested in all highlighted & ready to go! HTH!

Re: Disney Dining Plan Question

Yes, you should get a dining guide at checkin. However, we are running dangerously low and depending on when you go, they might not be available for a few days. I'd go ahead and print it out before you go.

Re: Disney Dining Plan Question

I printed out the listing before my trip, and when I checked in they gave me a smaller version of the dining guide which was very handy for carrying to the parks.
