My dad's plan to *maybe* come in Dec got me thinking...we are scheduled to leave 12/14 at 3pm, but I could change our flight to 12/16 at 9pm, downgrade from CBR to Pop (DDs think we're at Pop anyway) and do it for $200 with meals or $125 if my parents come and pay for our dinners. I have an AP, they'll have plenty of days on their premium passes.

Would you find an extra $200 and go for it?

$200 isn't much to spend for 2 more days of magic for you and your family. I would find a way to do it.

I re-calculated everything and changed some sit-down to counter service. Downgrading to Pop for 5 days and changing the flights, the new grand total for the extra 2+ days is......

$75!!!

and that's if they don't make it and don't pay for any of our dinners!

Needless to say, I made the changes...we're going to be at WDW for 7 nights plus our cruise! Yahoooo! DDs are going to be thrilled b/c now we'll have time for a water park (yes, even in December, they want to go to the water park

). DH is comopletely UNDERenthused about it, but he can get over it...I'm goin' to Disney World!!!

That's wonderful and quite a bargain!! I wouldn't have been able to pass up the chance to stay either. Have a great trip!
