Wheelchairs I know this was posted a while ago but I couldn't find it (my search is not working). How much are wheelchairs now. I know prices went up. Do you have to book in advance? My mom just had surgery on her foot 3 weeks ago and it is not healing. She now wants to rent a wheelchair.

Re: Wheelchairs Hey, tell your mom I hope she feels better soon! According to the 2005 PP the wheelchairs are $7 a day +$1 dep, and the EVC's are $30 a day +$10 dep. If the price has gone up since July then I'm not sure. HTH Ruth ![]()

Re: Wheelchairs Hope your mom's feeling better. My husband has MS and we rent a motorized scooter from WALKER everytime we visit WDW. The scooter is at the resort upon your arrival and is picked-up when you are finished, usually the morning we leave. You can use it whenever, those rented in the parks are used while in that park....you have to get there early as they are limited. The resorts also have a limited number of wheel chairs that guests can borrow while staying there. Have a good time rella ![]()
