Re: Changing hotels

Yes we did it in May and will be doing it again in March. It is very easy. The morning you are changing hotels call bell services and ask them to transfer you luggage from the resort you are checking out of to the resort you are checking into. It takes about 4 hours for your luggage to arrive at the new resort. Once it arrives they will deliver it to your room for you.

Just wanted to say "welcome to the boards!" You'll find a lot of great information here.

You may want to go to the "checking your itinary" board, and post your trip for your month of travel.

Re: Changing hotels

Also wanted to wish you a welcome!

It's an easy process- I tend to like it for longer stays, but that's just me. Happy planning!

Hi and welcome to the boards!

We changed from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to the Beach Club Villas in May 2004 and it couldn’t have been simpler. We dropped off our bags with bell service at AKL and then later in the day, called bell services at the BCV and the bags were there and were brought up to our room. Re: Changing hotels

Welcome to the boards We usually change resorts, but we're there for about 8 nights or more. If it's a short trip, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you're there for a week or more, it's a great way to experience two hotels! It's like 2 different vacations
