Finally got Cruella's family pinned down to a date; the Eastern dates conflicted with their planned trip to the Super Bowl, so we are taking the Western again.
So we all will be on the Magic in January, 2008.
Who wil be travelling: Chicken (37), Mr Incredible (DH 37), Dash (DS 9) and Pooh (DS7)
Cruella (DSister 37-no we are not twins, but the same age for the whole month of January!!), DBiL (39), DNeice (11) and DNephew (will turn 13 on Jan 13 and is DNiece ever irritated that he will get to go to the Stack without her!!!!!)
When: Jan 12-19, 2008
Where: booked joining staterooms with verandas on Deck 7 (7108 and 7110)
How: NOT FAST ENOUGH for me!!!!

Looks like we'll be the only people onboard the Magic for the Western Carib. cruise from January 26 - February 2. I checked all of the posts and noone else seems to be cruising with us. We have a large group going with us (11). Can't wait!!!

I know, I am going January 13-17th. I have only found about 2 other families who are going on the same cruise! At this rate we will get upgraded!!! hahahaha

We're doing our first cruise ever-the 4 day double dip on Aug 17th. It will be my husband and I and are 3 girls who will be 4,9, and 13. We can't wait!

Who: DH, DD-it's her birthday will be 11 that week!! It's a surprise! My Mom-in a seperate cabin, ME!!!
When: Eastern-April 12th 7 day. 1st ONE EVER!!!
I think we are on deck 5?? I know it has a verandah and it is on the starboard, aft end... Still learning all the right words to use..

We did our first ever cruise this past September for our 20th anniversary. Coleen was our agent too and was terrific. We had a FABULOUS time. Silly us....we didn't book onboard as we are taking DD, DS, and DD's friend to WDW as a grad gift in July 08. The kids were so jealous (LOL), they opted to have Christmas 08 in April instead and will be going on their first cruise since we have a school break. Would love to do a repo cruise or one of the specialty cruises, but I teach and mostly travel during the summer (lots of WDW in August trips - gotta love FL thunderstorms).

We also booked through Coleen for the Apr cruise and she was able to get us a secret Porthole cabin!!! I will also get to celebrate my birthday onboard.

As far as advice - definitely book Palo in advance online for dinner one night. It's amazing. They are known for their chocolate souffle but updated their dessert menu a few weeks before our cruise and have in addition to the souffle an amazing dessert for chocoholics - Chocolate Amaretto Indulgence - ummmmmm! Read your Navigator closely. If traveling w/o kids, be sure to hit Serenity Bay on Castaway Cay - the adult beach- nice, quiet, and relaxing.

If anyone else is doing the Apr 20th 4 night, our DD18 and DS14 would love to meet new people. DD will be too old for Aloft and is nervous she won't meet anyone.

I did it! I just booked 7 days on the Magic from March 8-15th. Our first Disney cruise. Its a 65th birthday present for my husband. Our sailing date is his birthday.
I will have to figure out something special for them to do. What fun!! We were in WDW last month and I caught the bug BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD. Don't let him know that this is just as much a present to myself as it is for him.

Hi everyone. I posted a long time ago and could not find anyone else doing this cruise. Thought I would post again. This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise. we did the same ship, ports and dates last year. Hubby had such a good time he booked the same cruise for this year before we even got off the ship. This time the kids will have there own cabin, Hubba hubba. My DH doesn't know it, yet, but I booked the "Romance Package" for our cabin. )
