| Re: can dvc members get upgrades the day of the cruise the short answer.... Anyone can... however, there are not many room available depending on the date of your cruise. That is why you have to be one of the first if you plan on such!! I have heard of some who have been successful... but not me yet... |

While I can't imagine Disney turning anyone down for a cash upgrade (if available), you never know what complications may arise because you're using points. There would have to be a cash value attributed to the points you exchanged for your cruise before they can bill you the difference between your "purchased" fare and the upgrade (I'm sure that's why you asked). I think it's best to ask DVC in advance about this, and if you get the answer, I'd love to know what it is! [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]  |

|  well i called dvc today about trying for a upgrade and they said the ship is almost always full. but you could use cash for an upgrade if there is room the day of boarding
