| Tipping Calculator I thought everyone might benefit from knowing where to find out how much is recommended for tipping on cruises. While most cruise Disney and you can find out what is recommended in the Passporter's Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line sometimes if the cruise is longer then the normal 3,4,7 day cruises or on a Different Cruise line all together how much to tip can be a little confusing. I found this website that will calculate how much to tip all you do is input the # of days, the # of adults , # of children. Then choose what cruise line your taking and it will do the math for you! Here is the link for the website! Cruise Tip Calculator - Your automated guide to Cruise Tips Hope this helps! Happy Cruising!

| That was a very cool exercise! I know it't incredibly lazy, but fun nonetheless! But I think I'll make my 15yo figure it out on his own just for the math exercise! (Then I'll check his math against the tip calculator!

| Tipping actually worked to be less than i thought it be for Dh and me. Nice to have real dollar figures in my head now instead of percentages which i can never really work around right. |

| Thank you. I read so many different websites that have me all jumbled up. The only thing it doesn't do is PAY for the tips. Oh well. Maybe in the next version.

| Thank you for the wonderful tip calculator. I have a question. Do you leave tips in the room for the room service on the ship, or do you put it in an envelope and give it to the guest services counter at the end of the trip? Im confused as to what to do since I have never been on a cruise before. I was thinking it was like at the hotels...you leave some in an envelope for them each day but I was talking to hubby and he was saying no...you put it all in an envelope and give it to them at the end of the trip...which do we do? |
