| It depends on the length of the cruise but here are some of the adult activities: Wine, beer & martini-tasting; ship tours (behind-the-scenes at the theater or galley) on sea-days; art of entertaining (sea-days); chip-it golf; adult cabaret; game-show style entertainment. Check out past navigators at CASTAWAYCLUB.COM for more details. My parents went with us last time. If my 69 year-old picky-as-can-be father can find things to do and have an excellent time, then I feel it's safe to say that EVERYONE will have fun and find things to do.

| DH and I have gone on two Disney Cruises sans kids and have two more booked, including the 15 day Eastern Panama. We had a great time! There are shows, wine, beer and martini tasting, the aforementioned tours, the Quiet Cove coffee bar, the adult pool, the list goes on and on. They will have a blast!

| We enjoyed many of the things already listed and had a great time dining at Palo and just watching sunsets/looking at the ocean, Serenity Bay was super, even just for lunch. They had steak and salmon and it was so peaceful, yet casual. Paradise for sure!

| Our favorite "adult" activity was a cocktail in Sessions. It is a wonderful piano bar - check it out!

| I noticed that a lot of the really cool activities (tours/ wine tastings) are for long 7-13 day cruises. What about the 3Day cruise? Can you recomend adult activities that we can participate in? |

| The problem with the 3-night cruise is that it is in a port-of-call each day. The tours, wine tastings, etc. occur on at-sea days. While there are always activities on board while the ship is in port, there are fewer of them because there are so many people who are doing things on shore. Regardless, there are plenty of adult activities. You can divide them into three categories: Organized Activities, Facilities, and Shore Activities. Organized Activities for adults (or appealing to adults) include the live shows in the Walt Disney Theatre, the movies in the Buena Vista Theater, entertainment in the Route 66 adult entertainment district on Deck 3, the Sailaway and Pirates of the Caribbean deck parties, the Art Auction at Sea, bingo, pin trading, exercise and health-related classes at the spa (many are free)... Facilities for adults-only on board include the Route 66 adult entertainment district (after 9:00 pm), the Quiet Cove Pool, Cove Cafe and Vista Spa (the last three all grouped together on Deck 9, and wonderfully quiet), and Palo restaurant. On Castaway Cay there is the Serenity Bay adults-only beach, the adjoining Air Bar-B-Q lunch spot, and the massage cabanas (fee). Shore activities include a wide variety of shore excursions, including golf, scuba, shopping, casino visits, fishing, etc. that should appeal to any adult.

| DH and I did a 3-day cruise last year and had a wonderful time. We spent time in the Cove Cafe, at the spa, had dinner at Palo and got some sun by the adult pool. We also had a wine tasting which we both loved. We had no problems finding a quiet place to relax when we wanted it. But we also enjoyed the live shows, movies and snorkeling at Castaway Cay right along with families and children. We found the entire Disney Cruise experience to be so enjoyable...and it was fun to see the kids with the characters and such! I'm sure your parents will surely find activities to keep them happy and occupied. |

| Comedy? Every Disney show has a happy ending (can you imagine a production of Oedipus?). But seriously, folks... On the seven-night and longer cruises there are several variety shows in addition to the "Disney" stage shows in the Walt Disney Theatre. The headliners are usually comedy acts of some sort. In addition to doing the big stage shows, the same performers do shows in the night club, too, both early for families/kids, and later in the evening for adults. There's plenty of humor in the regular nightclub line-up, too - 70s Night, 80s Night, the cruise line's version of the Newlywed Game... Next door, in Diversions (the sports lounge) they have a number of comedy-oriented activities like Pub Night (if you're lucky, they'll do the notorious and scandalous "Sea Skit").

| My in-laws liked the piano bar and having drinks by the pool/beach in the adult areas. There was also a coffee house that was nice and quiet.
