| Yes...I think it's there in Sept/Oct. I can't wait the see what changes they make. I'm sailing in Nov 2008. It's also the Magic's 10th anniversary so it will be interesting to see if they do anything special for the anniversary.

| We haven't had any reports or rumors about what may be changed. At the moment, the Magic and Wonder have both been through the same number of upgrades. The only thing done to the Wonder the last time it was in dry dock that hasn't already been done on the Magic is the toddler play fountain area next to the Mickey Pool. I'm expecting that something similar will be added to the Magic. It may turn out that nearly all the work done will be relatively invisible to the guests. There's always a list of items in the kitchens that needs work - they get a lot of wear and tear, and those items count heavily against a ship when it has its government inspections. Then there's work on engines and other mechanical systems, re-painting the hull below the waterline, carpets may be replaced... all sorts of possibilities.

| WFMA - the ship dry docks at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (which is technically in Portsmouth, but can be seen from Norfolk right across the river). New NNSY1 Homepage When the ships are in dry dock, I get to see them almost every day |

| For a three week stay, she'll probably get new paint inside and out, new carpeting in most areas, maybe new theater seats. I don't know how old the dining room furniture is. I've heard something about new bedding, but that can be done just about any time in a rolling fashion (but if she's parked for three weeks ...). As Dave says, lots of behind the scenes stuff. I don't know if the bridge computers have been updated (ie, totally swapped out). You just know that they will be screaming around at 105% of full throttle. Starting around 1 pm the day the ship arrives in Port Canaveral.
